What is Rooting ?

         Andriod is an open source. Users expect more on their andriod devices
as it available in high -end devices. One of the popular starting points for Andriod
customization is to 'root your phone'.

          Rooting grants users elavated privilages and is allowed to modify/customize
their particular devices as they wish. Powerful customizations of Rooting includes
the ability to overlock your phone's CPU, backing up your apps and wanted data’s
tethering your phone's internet connection via Wi:-Fi. Rooting similarly means
Unlocking the contention in your device and getting permission to add or remove
the file as you will.
          The term root is a feature of Unix systems. The upper directory is denoted
with a symbol  ( / ) and it is called root. Having access to files at a big level is
called having 'root access to the system and users , having root access  is a
"Superuser".  Since, Andriod uses Linux Kernel, and Linux itself is a derived from
UNIX system, the link carries on.
